why when we are following an extremely boring lesson, not only we get distracted but we get sleepy too?

Our bodies try to conserve energy. If there’s nothing simulating going on and apparently nothing better to do, might as well sleep. Basically the same reason your pet cat sleeps 20 hours a day.

If you are distracted and get sleepy too. Then your distraction is as boring as the lesson
