Three reasons I can think of:
Old concerts weren’t recorded digitally, therefore they won’t be on things like YouTube unless someone has transferred them to digital format and uploaded them.
Also, and this is my personal opinion, music companies own the rights to said concerts and therefore want to control and limit distribution for profit from sales of concert videos
Lastly, with many concerts recorded on tape and film, originals could be damaged easily and copies took much longer to make, not to mention being more costly.
