Why is it recommended to not use your phone while it’s charging?

That isn’t I thing. You can freely use your phone while it’s charging. They’re designed for that. The only caution is to use the correct charger, like the one that came with your phone or anything approved for use by your phone’s manufacturer. But that’s only because there’s concern that a phone will overheat or even explode if it’s being charged buy the wrong kind of charger. Although that’s pretty much considered a very minimal risk.
