The arm is a muscle that’s easy to get to, without removing clothes. That makes giving lots of shots faster, and thus cheaper.

It needs to be in a large-ish muscle, and your upper arm is a convenient muscle to use since it doesn’t require you to de-pants.

Gotta go inside a muscle to be absorbed into the bloodstream and the deltoid muscle is the most accessible for the person giving the shot

Intramuscular injections (IM) have to go in a muscle large enough for the amount of medication being delivered. I forget what the exact amounts are, but it could be that .5 cc can go in deltoid (arm), while 1 cc would have to go ventrogluteal (hip).

Out of curiosity, is there a location you would prefer to the arm? Most people prefer it.
