when a mosquito sticks you it injects a bit of anti clotting agent. this enables it to drink away and that is also what causes the red itchy lump on the arm.

The primary reason would be because mixing different blood types doesn’t result in clotting. That initial premise being wrong makes the question sort of pointless, but the other explanations of it being digested by the mosquito and the introduction of anti-clotting agents are also true.
