Why does tequila make you feel so much different than any other alcohol?

.. it does not make you feel different to any other booze. if you drank whisky or sambuca or vodka in the same way you neck tequila you would get drunk as shit as well. also the whole salt and lemon shit is also bullshit its just part of the ritual and mythology behind knecking large measures neat and getting wankered.
