Why does pressure in a coke bottle increase if I shake it?

I mean, there’s the same amount of matter than what it was before. The carbon gas has the same amount of matter, same with the air left inside and with the water that makes up the coke. Where does this pressure come from?

CO2 dissolved in water takes up less space than water and CO2 as a gas. When you shake up the bottle, a bunch of CO2 leaves the solution and becomes a gas, raising the pressure in the bottle.
