Why do period cramps and diarrhea/gas cramps feel the same?

Well, do they? They are in a similar area, maybe it is just that you are confusing them. I know my SO for example can feel the difference for sure.
I used to be able to feel the difference, then I developed endometriosis around my bowels, and now they really do feel the same. If you can’t tell the difference, I recommend seeing a gynecologist
