Why do you think they don’t?

Lower life spans, slightly better defenses, less contact with contagious things. They still get ill often.

Disease is usually spread by contact with other carriers. Humans tend to come into contact with a lot of other humans (public transport, supermarkets, workplaces) on a daily basis, which increases spread and chance of illness.

Also, animals often cope better with illness and injury because in the wild showing weakness could cost them a chance to hunt, a place in the pack etc.

Because animals are more sparce in urban areas. There may be a cat here and there. While humans pack together in buses, rooms and homes.

Animals have high chance of getting sick when they are packed together such as battery farms.
