I’m doing homework and i want to explain this but can’t find the right words ;'(

Probably because being a self-centered, impulsive person with bad judgement *is* what children do. What’s a disorder in an adult is just how a two-year-old naturally is.

Because a lot of people act like asshats in their teens, so otherwise there would be a lot of false positives. But you can however be diagnosed with conduct disorder which is a prerequisite for ASPD.

Personalities are rapidly changing during those times and are not fully developed till adulthood so any diagnosis would be premature and possibly misleading.
