Why can saying a word repeatedly eventually feel weird, like, it isn’t a real word or feel like it you’ve never heard it before?

This is known as jamais vu. It is a psychological phenomenon…phenomenon…phenomenon, phe nom e non …that’s a funny word…anyway what was I saying? Oh yeah, it’s not fully understood, but one possibility is that your brain gets exhausted from trying to interpret the sounds over and over so you just start hearing it as a sound.

It’s neural fatigue. You keep activating those connections responsible for storing that word and its associations, and eventually they don’t want to respond as effectively as normal. If you give it a while, they reset themselves and the word seems normal again.

This is known as semantic satiation. It is a psychological phenomena where after experiencing the repitition of a word being said over and over your brain starts getting fatigued. Essentially, your brain is getting tired of the repeating and it starts feeling weird.

I always figured it’s because pretty much all reality is meaningless when we deconstruct it. When we repeat a word over and over, eventually the thought behind it goes away and all we have are phonetics, and the feeling of producing sounds.

It’s called Semantic Satiation,
When we process information, our brain basically runs a charge through neurons, this is spontaneous!
Every successive charge takes up more energy and time,
When we encounter and see the same word over and over again, the brain processes it again, firing up neurons, thus using more energy and taking more time,
This creates a loop in the brain and tires up the brain, creating a feeling of confusion.

TLDR: Brain gets tired of the same thing coming in its way again and again.

You mean like “curb”? It even looks like it’s spelled wrong.
