Why are wet clothes hard to wear or why are dry clothes hard to wear when your body is slightly dry? Is it the same reasons it’s easier to grip a ball with slightly wet hands?

I can’t follow the first question, but the answer to the second one is “fingerprints”. The evolutionary benefit of fingerprints, versus fingertips covered with arm skin, is that the fingerprint ridges trap oil allowing them to squish out water so you have a better grip on wet objects.

I don’t understand what you mean by ‘hard to wear’ I think that’s the why you are not getting answers
