Personality is largely based on how you were raised, with some influence from genetics. This competing influence is commonly phrased as “nature vs nurture.” Obviously, there are genetic differences between males and females. On the nurture side, gender roles often influence how each sex is raised. These two influences tend to create different personalities.

That said, personalities vary wildly across humanity, regardless of sex. People are very complicated, and picking out a few isolated differences between people is often so reductive that it doesn’t give an accurate picture of the person.

Parenting experiences. Till today most parents treat their children differently because of gender.

There isn’t. Or rather, the personality differences are not based on their gender. People have different personalities because they are different people.

Because people develop different personalities. We’re not some monolith of identical behaviors.

There aren’t really.

It’s more based on how kids are treated. Society teaches girls and boys to act differently. Even if parents try to raise them the same, going to school or watching television or reading books will teach them differently
