It’s all about the rate at which they can compress their content. YouTube and Netflix have some for the best video compression anywhere.

Meaning they can make the size of the overall video much smaller than say Hulu and still retain enough quality that it will be good looking. So it takes less bandwidth to transfer since that file is smaller.
