When you wake up from a coma, do you feel well rested? If not, why?

Let’s say you have been in a coma for one year, if you woke up, would you feel like you slept? Or would you feel tired? (Apart from fatigue caused by any illness or other symptoms that could make you feel tired)

You would wake up with various physical ailments that come from inactivity, muscle wasting, blood pooling, inability to chew/swallow, potentially sore from the breathing tube going down into your lungs….so unlikely you’d wake up well rested.

Your body has basically been shut down in a form of hibernation mode while the repairs were carried out on your brain, so the body was just kind of ticking over https://youtu.be/S4GsqFOrYKc this means that some non essential tasks and operations were shutdown or slowed down and will need to be restarted once you come out of the coma. So you would need rest after coming round, the muscles in your limbs will be unused to moving anyway so you wouldn’t be getting out of bed soon anyway.
