Food poisoning is a bacterial infection that your body is responding to and fighting off. Note how the symptoms are like diarrhea, headache, chills, weakness etc.
Food poisoning is any illness caused by eating food contaminated with pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites; e.g. salmonella, e. coli, or trichinosis.
Food poisoning is a condition in whichever you ate food poisoned with toxins(food the already contained bacterial toxin) and after consuming it the poison(bacterial toxin) irritates your intestines( place where food nutrients get absorbed) , this irritation leads to vomiting and loose stools asap
Normally if you have a bacterial infection of the intestines the bacteria take some time to make the poison / irritate your intestine so the time of onset is more in case of bacterial infection as compared to food poisoning.
Tldr: food had poison which made you puke and poop.
