Is there a biologically dominant personality? Do the brain waves change for each personality?

I’m not an expert, but a cursory glance (Wikipedia) seems to say it’s a) not super well understood and b) highly variable from person to person, but there does seem to be a primary personality, that tends to be passive and subdued, which to me, sounds like it’s more of one personality being fractured into different parts. As with pretty much anything, it’s probably not super helpful to think of it the way it’s portrayed on TV.

No one knows.

I was medically retired from the military for having dissociative amnesia (this was when it was first being termed/defined) several years ago. They don’t know what caused it, and since I had no prior issues are not sure why it would have possibly happened.

To me, there is a 12-day gap where I did not exist. It’s just gone. And it’s weird because I’m an outgoing person. Very personable and social. For me to not exist for 12 days just doesn’t happen.

So, no one knows.
