How does certain types of music makes us cry?

Music is designed to tap into our emotions. It could be lyrics that resonate with you, music that you heard at some point in your life that hearing it again floods back those memories, or even a piece that so captivates you that you are swept along for the ride it is taking you on. In any case, excess of emotion often leads to us crying.
it can be the lyrics, certain words we hear that trigger a memory or feeling, the melody, something we see etc. it depends. there are definitely happy songs that make me sad without a reason.
