They’re not fully unconscious, they simple have partial awareness. My mother was in a medically induced coma for nearly 2 weeks and said she was aware of everything around her. Visitors and nurses and doctors coming and going, the life support machines all beeping. It’s the same as when you’re “asleep” but also aware. You’re simply not fully “out”. I wonder what the awareness rate is of people in medically induced comas vs natural comas is. That could be a contributor.

So it’s like deja vu or something like u to to sleep and wake up and remember what happened or sleep paralysis
