ELIF how our brain knows, if it already experienced something and where to find it.

We… Don’t know.
Guesswork is that our brain is like a HDD and stores the memories. I would guess it is stored in the blubber but some may argue not. The neurons transmit the information from A to B. In a MRI a whole section of the brain lights up when we do a certain thing like talk, sniff and other stuff.
Oh, I forgot, in case you don’t know, brain is made of blubber and neurons, we have more of the former and the latter is something that grows up to like 2 years of age.
Fun fact: The brain also stores a lot of our personality. There was a case of a man having a steel rod go trough his head. He survived but had a massive personality shift after, become violent and rude.
