[ELI5] Which is the idea behind the different DNA cloning metods?

same as title. Can someone E the differences of cloning methods, Gibson, In-Fusion others that may exist LI5?

Traditional cloning is like cut and paste at certain defined DNA pattern sites by restriction enzymes. These occur and function naturally in bacteria. Cloning this way needs lots of auxiliary reactions to stop DNA from self-ligating.
Something like Gateway cloning works a bit differently. It’s still of bacterial Origin but it’s not nucleotide sequence specific in the same sense. It instead uses special sites surrounding the gene of interest that get “flipped” into place.
