Just as the title says. Have seen some small ones in real life and just curious how, why and where they can be found

A diamond has no impurities. Other gems that are colored do. When it gets hot enough or for another reason if that material dissolved in a liquid, if it is cooled ever so slowly, the atoms from the gemstone begin to stack on top of each other. If it cools too quick, other things might settle and break the crystal lattice, interesting conclusion though, no one knows how crystals are first formed
Silly evolutionist! God spoke them into existence about 6,000 years ago. Who are we to even question these things?
