Do other animals (apart from primates) experience admiration?

Are other animals able to see another member of their species and simply appreciate their prowess or behaviour, or is this always seen as competition to them?

I am pretty sure that is why some animals become the leader. It seems like they are able to display their ability to do certain things, including kill. Kind of like how a cat will kill something, present it and demand your admiration. They do that to each other, too.

Also, I am pretty sure my cat feels admiration whenever I can cover myself in water, help her gain the opportunity to kill something, gain control over something she hates/really loves or help her down from the top of the garden swing she won’t stop climbing. So, it can be for any species. LOL

I am sure of it because I can see it in her eyes. “How did you do that, human?”
