What you’re seeing is the [80 Plus efficiency rating](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus#Efficiency_level_certifications) which tells you how efficient the power supply is under certain circumstances.
It has helped push power supplies from being in the 70-80% efficiency range to 90% and higher at high loads which greatly reduces the amount of power wasted by the huge amount of computers in the world
But the only thing it tells you is the efficiency of the power supply. You can make a highly efficient power supply with components that won’t last long and have no protections, you can also make a meh efficiency power supply that will run for 20 years with no issues because you over spec’d every part. It only tells you the efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% load
