Can new born babies think?

Not really the way we do, with words in our heads attached to images, as they don’t know any words yet and haven’t seen anything yet to make images in their heads. They do still have emotions and other sensations that they remember from within the womb, so these form the basis of their thinking as their brain and language skills are still developing.
