How is this value of reverse painting on glass?

I have a painting of a Napoleonic soldier and his horse home. I took the back off the painting, and found that the painting was painted on the glass. I did some research on the internet, and seems to be much more detailed than the other paintings I saw. The painting has no signature on it, so I have no idea where or when it was done. Some people are able to give me some idea of where to look?

Antique reverse painted on glass are very collectible and can reach a reasonable price at auction. To obtain an evaluation should take your picture to an auctioneer or tunnel reputation for evaluation.

Fortunately, both groups of unique, talented artists are beginning to see some of the attention and praise they deserve. Black art painting is finally being seen for the enormous contribution to the history and the art world that is.

Both parts of the world artists have produced extraordinarily gifted. Western Hemisphere, there are some blacks men and women who paved the way for African-American artists of today. Horace Pippin is one of those men. After an injury in World War I, Pippin discovered his talent as a basis for rich, history painting. While avoiding the unpleasantness of life for a black man in the United States during that period, he produced works of black art, who has spoken volumes for the viewer. His work was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in 1938. A lesser-known black artists who have contributed to the black art movement in the United States is Walter Ellison. His most famous is "Station" located in the Art Institute of Chicago. That painting is an honest look at the difficulties that black families such as the migration to the north the hope of a better future than in the south, could or should offer. These two exceptional artists blacks help give hope for recognition to the many talented artists black were to follow.

The scenario for the artists and live in Africa is different though. Despite the struggles with racial discrimination and prejudice inherent in the United States African artists are faced with even the most difficult. Apartheid and censorship have long plagued this long suffering group of artists and painters. While expressing their point of view of political unrest and unfair treatment, African artists have been subjected to severe punishment and censorship unheard in the West. Thanks in part to the academic world is growing interest in the work of contemporary black, black art painting is receiving more attention and registering in the minds of museum curators and art galleries as well. Most of the credit belongs to the strength and artistic expression of African artists.

Since its humble beginning in rock painting to its depictions of slavery, apartheid, and injustice, black art is the expression of feelings and emotions of a society different, racially unified community of artists. The rest of the world now has the opportunity to see and experience this unique form of painting.

Mr. Moyo Ogundipe has a Bachelors of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and a Master of Fine Art degree in painting Hoffberger School of Painting, Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, USA.

One of Africa's most famous and renowned contemporary black American artists, Mr. Ogundipe has exhibited extensively in Africa, Europe and the United States. His paintings have been described as hypnotic, colorful and high density of fantasy.

In 1996, Mr. Ogundipe was awarded the Pollock-Krasner Fellowship. And in 2005 he was invited to become a member of Africobra, an organization founded in 1960 and whose membership is composed of distinguished African-American artists.
