Bronchitis is a respiratory disease characterized by inflammation of the trachea and bronchi. Viral or bacterial infection is responsible for acute bronchitis. On the other hand, chronic bronchitis is caused when the lungs are constantly irritated by tobacco smoke or exposure to pollution or hazardous conditions.
Do not despair if your doctor tells you that you contract bronchitis. The following ten steps will tell you how to successfully treat bronchitis:
1. Get away from irritants, pollutants, and toxins that are causing chaos for your lungs. Quit smoking for good and to avoid being a passive smoker too. If you live in an area polluted, or go to a place clean or maintain within the boundaries of your home. Protect yourself in the form of hazardous and other irritants wearing a mask.
2nd Keep a humidifier or a vaporizer in your home to increase the moisture of your immediate environment. This will help you breathe more easily.
3rd Keep a bottle of hot water or a warm, damp cloth against your chest or back. This helps to reduce inflammation and is highly effective if done at bed time.
4th If you are planning a visit to the cooling zone, remember to cover the nose and mouth with a handkerchief hot. This precaution should be taken cold, because conditions worsen bronchitis.
5th Do not take suppresants cough. Coughing is the body how to throw out the unwanted secretions. You can, however, take a suppressant at night in order to facilitate a good night's sleep.
6. Take medicines as prescribed by your doctor. If your condition is caused by bacterial infections, you should take antibiotics. Do not miss any dose. Complete the entire course of therapy, even if you feel you are better.
7th Use inhalers and aerosols, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not increase your dose, because it might cause side effects.
8th You may need to take dietary supplements, such as silver colloidal, zinc, vitamins A and C, coenzyme Q10, goldenseal, and echinacea. However, before taking anything, consult your doctor.
9th Planning a nutrient and well balanced. Drink plenty of fluids such as soups, teas, juices and water.
10th Do not take foods that can promote the production of mucus. A list of these foods include dairy products, white flour, processed foods, sugar, and foods that cause allergies.
In addition to ten steps above, People with bronchitis typically use the following methods to treat bronchitis:
1. Eat cucumber mixed with vinegar. It effectively cleans the excess mucus. In addition, it also helps kill bacteria that infect the lungs.
2nd Take a coal slush comprising a mixture of 4-6 teaspoons of coal powder mixed with water. Do not taste foul and you can easily drink. Take a dose of this granite every 4-6 hours when awake. The charcoal absorbs bacteria and other germs are harmful and are eliminated danger from the body in the bathroom.
3rd Frankincense, oregano, thyme and oil, help relieve breathlessness. Take two drops of oil of incense mixed with juice of organic Ciago three times a day for three days. At the end of the third day, taking oregano and thyme oils in a similar way. You can even use pleurisy root as an alternative.
4th Boil the water in a container full of fresh herbs. Wrap your head with a towl. Cover the container with the towel and breathe the aromatic vapors. Do this several times a day intervals. This practice will help to liquify the phlegm.
5th Pound gently back of the patient while he or she is lying on his stomach with the upper body in a hanging position. This breaks or dislocates the phlegm. This procedure is neither comfortable nor safe. However, if done correctly, is a great way to get rid of mucus blocking air passages.
Consult a doctor if symptoms last more than a week. If the mucus becomes yellow, green or rust color, is a sign danger and requires the attention of a doctor. Before you make changes to your diet or taking any nutritional supplements, consult your doctor or care provider health care.
