The maps can come in quite handy if you're following the story and descriptions to get a little 'lost. I remember reading Shannara through the series of books by Terry Brooks, and even if it is a great author and a great description, there was a point in history where most characters have been traveling in directions different at the same time. Each chapter would switch over to the progress of another person until after a while 'time I felt a little' lost. Fortunately, the books were a map of the fantasy world so I could refer to it throughout history in order to get my bearings. But besides this, and perhaps more importantly, it is certainly for a more rich history of experience.

Speaking of which, I noticed an interesting phenomenon when world wall maps were created for a world of fantasy. E 'as if the map brings a new sense of legitimacy, or "reality" if you will, for the world. Makes it seem like the imaginary world that exists in reality a sort of alternate reality. It adds another layer of believability to the story and the fantasy world in which it takes place.

Of course, in the end we are aware of these fantasy worlds are pure fiction, but their world wall maps allow our imaginations to grow and allow that sense of immersion into the world of fantasy that makes the experience more pleasant.

Most of the producers do not bother to stamp a logo on their product. Of those who do not are more likely to find on the back or bottom of units of this type. Youre more probability of finding an inspection / quality assurance stamp tho. Some stamp inside a panel Nightstand or belief, but its more common to find on the back. The best thing to do would be to take pictures of the unit and contact the Ethan Allen's corp office - will have a record of all their latest projects, and can confrim if you have the pieces were made by them or not.
