Recipe # 1 - AMISH Chicken Noodle Soup

3 pounds chicken

2 QTS. water

2 tsp. salt

1 1 / 2 c. chicken broth

2 c. celery, chopped

2 c. carrots, chopped

1 tart apple, chopped

1 c. chopped onion

Dash pepper

4 c. Egg noodles

Place chicken in pot with 2 quarts of water. Cover until tender (about 2 1 / 2 hours). Remove chicken from kettle and strain broth. Debone chicken and return to kettle with strained broth. Add the chicken broth, celery, carrots, apples, onions and pepper and cook until vegetables are tender. Add noodles and cook 8-10 minutes.

Recipe # 2 - AMISH CHICKEN - CORN SOUP

£ 2. sliced chicken

5 c. water

1 med. chopped onion

2 tbsp. parsley chopped

1 / 2 c. chopped celery

2 c. corn

Salt and pepper

1 c. flour

1 egg, beaten

1 / 4 c. milk

Simmer the chicken in boiling water, remove bones and skin. Strain the stock. Return to pot, add the onion, celery and corn. Simmer until vegetables tender. Mix flour with eggs and milk. Rub mixture with fork until it collapses. Drop crumbs in soup. Bake 10 minutes covered. Serves 3 to 4.

What is the best way to ship very special antique furniture pieces from FL to TN?

My grandmother has recently died. It has a solid trunk of oak and a desk (both old) at home of my aunt in Florida. These pieces are very special for me emotionally and can never be replaced. Where can I find information on an antique cash register?

I have an LC Smith Corona and the cash register. I can not find any information on it. I would like to know the value, or, in fact, anything I can find on it. I was hoping that someone may be able to at least tell me how to find out how old it is. It has a wooden crate and is actually in great condition. Only some of the paint is carried out in cash. All parts work. It 's just needs a new tape and paper.
