45 – The Council – Gathering – Lake upon the Earth

People gather together to consult about the state of affairs and make a decision in agreement. The council is a time to come together and request advice from a grouping of people as many minds may be able to perceive that which is cloudy to the one. It may also be time to offer a sacrifice to something greater than ourselves for the sake of furthering our cause. The wise man chooses a star and shoots for it.

1^st – The Council Indecisive – They start and stop and really get nowhere. Perhaps there is fear for taking action? This should be dispersed and action should be taken.

2^nd – Joining the Council – He confidently steps into the hall and asks for assistance from the council. Now is the time to be drawn into the affairs of others while making the correct sacrifice for price of admission.

3^rd – The Mournful Council – They all look so sad and prefer to mourn rather than take action. This is fine, and if action is taken, then it should be done with a gentle hand.

4^th – The Council Celebrates – All are in agreement and a firm decision has been made. Rejoice, for now it is just a matter of working out the details.

5^th – The Council in Dispute – They agree to listen to his words, for he carries much respect, but he does not yet have the power to convince them of his cause. He should continue his persistence until he feels that he has done all that he can.

6^th – The Council Sighs – Things are going wrong, though not by our fault. Nevertheless, there is not much to do but sigh and let it pass.

All Six – The Confident Council – Knowing that his cause is righteous and honorable, he steps forward and wins the peoples support. Now is the time to be sincere and true with our words.
