35 – The Prince – Radiance – A Pillar of Flame
Like a pillar of flame in the desert, we shine brightly for all to see. The prince is given an illustrious steed and granted audience three times in one day! The Wise One understands that good things sometimes come in threes and accepts the gifts that aid him in his progress.
1st – The Liberal Prince – Even through there still be mistrust, he will give freely without hope of recompensation. Things may change in the near future, so best to maintain relationships and not to burn any bridges
2nd – The Princes Mother – Though there seems to be sorrow at whatever action we take, we must continue to trudge forward. Following the wisdom of an elder woman will bring clarity to the situation.
3rd – The Prince Rides Forth – He gathers his companions and raises his banners. The wise man picks a star and rides forth with determination to achieve his objective.
4th – The Prince Must Wait – The king still lives and the prince has not yet completed his education. The wise man does not attempt to rise above his station before the appointed time has come.
5th – The Selfless Prince – He makes a decision and carries it to the end without care for loss or gain. Doing what we must do, in the end we will find blessing.
6th – The Princes Charge – Showing signs of immaturity, he charges recklessly against the enemy. He does this not so much due to the conflict, but rather for the lust of battle. War is serious and should only be carried out with a concrete objective. The wise man will press against an enemy, but also knows to stop once he has achieved his objective.
All Six – The Prince Dresses Down – Removing his gold chains and donning the clothing of the common man, the prince is able to walk thorough the city without notice. It would be best now not to draw too much attention.
