The Celestial Dragon Edition I Ching was compiled in English for the sole purpose of being understood and useful for the process of divination. To actualize this, we had to throw out many of the of literal translations from Chinese as phrases regarding ‘manic tortoises’ and ‘chopping off the nose’ would probably illicit a humorous response, but not be very helpful for the sake of divination.
We took these phrases and discerned the true statement of their meaning. Then though long hours of contemplation and study, came up with suitable replacements in the English language that will sometimes use different imagery, but are able to correctly convey the metaphor so that the context is well understood by all.
All the Hexagrams are available for viewing on this website for free. You may browse freely. We have also made the entire text complete with instructions and a few extra goodies available for electronic download for a reasonable price of $12.90 per download.
