Can I use a carpet cleaning machine on my dirty carpet silk area that says "Spot clean only"?

My dog peed on it a couple of times, and is placed in a high traffic area. I have a Bissell or Hoover or some similar type of carpet cleaning machine. Anyone have any experience with this?

You should not use any cleaning machines on silk - in line with ruins silk, causing it to break and run. Also, do not use water to clean silk will leave a mark. The silk is only clean solvent, clean spot for only one reason. If you are not comfortable cleaning yourself, contact a qualified technician in your area.
